Many of you have asked in the past if my family eats the same things I do. So today I snapped a quick picture of my mom's food prep for the day! She packs breakfast, lunch, and usually 2 snacks for the day. She eats intuitively of course, so sometimes she won't eat all of what she packs or she will go out to lunch instead of eating what she has packed.
Breakfast:
She made homemade blueberry muffins (ft. Coconut oil, coconut flour, and @optimumnutrition vanilla whey. I'm so proud!). To go along with that she has coffee with a natural french vanilla creamer.
Morning snack:
She makes smoothies almost everyday. They're always different, but I'm pretty sure today's had mixed frozen fruit, trop50 Orange juice, vanilla whey, pomegranate seeds, hemp seeds, and flaxseeds.
Lunch:
Light ranch dressing to go with a bag of raw vegetables, 40% less fat cape cod potato chips (it's a natural brand. Only 3 ingredients!!), a 100 calorie whole wheat sandwich thin, and a serving my "chicken salad" recipe.
Extra snacks:
She keeps a squirt bottle of the 0-cal drink mix-ins with her in case she wants something with flavor. This one is a berry/pomegranate. She also keeps peanut butter crackers, some Nutella/natural animal crackers, or dark chocolate covered almonds (her favorite brand is @amberlynchocolates) as a dessert in case she wants a sweet bite.
I hope this answered some of your questions and you find this helpful!!
