Super simple recipe here here!! I found we have molds to make both big and little donuts so you can probably guess how I spent my morning. The recipe was inspired by @healthfitness12 on instagram, but I did make a few changes! I made several variations but for each I started out with:
2T coconut flour
1/4 c whole wheat flour
2 packets of truvia/stevia
1 whole egg
2T uns vanilla almond milk
1/2 t baking powder
spinkle of cinnamon
dash of vanilla extract
-this recipe made 8 small OR 3 large for me. you have to coat your cooking tray very well because the do stick easily. (I used coconut oil spray) I cooked them both on 350 degrees. the small ones took about 11-13 minutes and the large took 14-16 but keep an eye on them because your oven could be different!
after that I added things into the batter to make them wicked good!
chocolate chip: add 2t uns dark cocoa powder and 1/2T enjoy life chocolate chips
vanilla: double the vanilla extract or add 2t vanilla protein powder
apple cinnamon: 1T uns applesauce and 1/2 t cinnamon
cinnamon raisin: 1/2 t cinnamon and 1/2 T raisins
german chocolate: 2 t dark uns cocoa powder and 1T chopped walnuts (pecans would also work)
almond joy: 1t uns dark cocoa powder and top with uns shredded coconut and sliced almonds
peanut butter: 2t powdered peanut butter
for glazes I made a chocolate (dark uns cocoa powder, uns vanilla almond milk, and truvia), vanilla (plain greek yogurt with truvia and vanilla extract), and a peanut butter (powdered peanut butter and uns vanilla almond milk). every variation was delicious and I definetly will make these again! I asked my parents to be my guinea pigs and try these before I even took a bite. my mom has a sweet tooth for chocolate and was easy to please! my dad on the other hand likes to call most of my recipes "creeper food" because it supposedly looks weird, sounds gross, and shouldn't be edible... he even said they were good! hope you all enjoy!
