Before I even start the review I just want to say how amazing their customer service is. If you have any questions or just a statements and you email them they get back to you RIGHT AWAY. I was in touch with one of the ladies named Natalie and she was super helpful, sweet, and kind. Seriously loved the company before I even tried their bars.
Onto the review now! The company of rise bar is a new company which is why many people probably haven't heard of them but I really want to help get their name out there. This is like the new quest in my opinion (except most aren't protein bars, they just taste super delicious!). Rise Bar makes three main types of bars which are breakfast bars, energy bars, and protein bars (two are vegan!). I you read the ingredients it is a super short list of whole, natural foods.
Breakfast Bars:
Crunchy perfect pumpkin: this bar actually wasn't as crunchy as I expected! I thought it would be a granola type bar, but instead it was like granola in its softest form. I don't exactly know how to describe it but the flavor was very good. Lots of pumpkin seeds and a nice apricot & cranberry flavor.
Cranberry apple: I really like the texture of all their breakfast bars. They are very moist and strong in flavor. They all have a little crunch to them which I love over some yogurt. This one had little almond bits which added a great flavor.
Crunchy macadamia pineapple: this bar is FULL of dried fruit and nuts. Flavor was on point!! It has a great crunchy and sweetness from the honey, definetly a favorite.
-crunchy cashew almond: of the breakfast bars, this one tasted the most like granola. I had them all over yogurt so it was prefect! Lots of whole nuts and traveled really well. (Some bars gets crushed/mangled easily) I loved!!
Energy Bars: I thought it was funny because on their website it says "Get fueled anytime, even on the run" and I took these with me before running (haha).
-coconut acai: possibly my favorite bar ever. This was my first one to try and absolutely the best. If you are going to try their bars, go for this. It has a softer texture like Lara bars but real chunks of raisins, almonds, coconut, and acai berries. The flavor didn't remind me of coconuts exactly but more like a sweet treat (although there isn't any sugar). Just delicious!
-raspberry pomegranate: lots of little chunks of fried fruit! The flavor wasn't as strong as I'd hoped on this one but it still tasted yummy!
-blueberry pomegranate: this bar is actually BLUE. haha I wasn't expecting so many blueberries!! Strong coconut flavor, which is always a good thing. Definetly one of my favorites.
-apricot goji: this bar was delicious! There are lots of cashews in it, suprisingly. It's the first time I've ever tried goji berries so I was exited to give it a taste! They remind me of raisins or cranberries in a way, definetly pleased!!!
Protein Bars:
-Sunflower cinnamon: the sunflower butter made this pretty oily so don't touch much before you wash your hands haha. Flavor was good, just very mild. Not too grainy (some vegan protein bars can me) and the perfect amount of sweetness! I sadly didn't taste much cinnamon though. And I LOVE me some cinnamon!
-honey almond: this was probably my favorite of the protein bars! I'm finding that they are all very oily though. Eating them you can't taste it, so I'm not too sure where it comes from. Honey is my favorite sweetner taste wise, so I really liked this one!
-crunchy carob chip: like all the other protein bars, it's very oily. My favorite way to enjoy them is mixed into other things (I made Popsicles with this one). Definetly a dessert-type bar.. Very chocolatey! One of my favorites.
