Pescience=new favorite brand of protein. Their flavors are insanely delicious and true to flavor pluuuussss they're a mix of casein & whey. This means when you make protein fluff the volume in UNREAL. Sadly, snickerdoodle is the only flavor I have at the moment. It is probably the most flavorful protein powder I've ever tried. Bakes great into every recipe I've tried so I thought I'd share a few with you! If you'd like some more options of recipes you could make, you can check out their instagram @pescience or for all the flavors they have to offer check their website www.pescience.com.
Snickerdoodle bars:
Ingredients:
-1 egg
-1 scoop whey
-1 can white beans (drained & rinsed)
-2T coconut butter
-1/4 c plain Greek yogurt
-2T coconut flour
-1/3 c stevia (or other sweetener)
-1t baking powder
-1t vanilla extract
Method:
Blend ingredients until smooth. Preheat oven to 375F and bake for 20ish minutes or until cooked through. I topped mine with a dusting of cinnamon & extra stevia just for a golden top. My favorite way to eat them is with a big spoon of nut butter on top!
Fluff:
Ingredients:
-1c ice
-1 scoop protein
-1c milk (I use unsweetened almond)
-1/2 a frozen banana
-1/2 c kale (optional, just gets extra veggies!)
-1t xanthum gum
Method:
Blend. Be patient because the more you blend it, the more it grows. I think I fluffed mine into about 10-12 cups of volume. The texture is thick like pudding- it's not just slush. Tastes good with the snickerdoodle bars crumbled on top!
Snickerdoodle protein Popsicles:
Ingredients/Method:
I blended together 1/3 cup cottage cheese, 1/2 scoop snickerdoodle protein, 1/2 c ice, 1/2 c almond milk, 1/2T stevia, a sprinkle of cinnamon, a dash of vanilla extract, and 1/2-1tsp xanthum gum for thickness. Be patient with the blending because the longer you let it go, the thicker it will get. Pour that mixture into your popsicle molds, freeze, and devour!
