I thought about maybe posting everything I eat in a day once a week so you can see the types of things I pair together.. Yay or nay?
-I started off my day with @mindovermunch (on Instagram) recipe for apple pie waffles! I topped my two waffles with almond butter, pecans, apple chunks, and walden farms pancake syrup. Also had my coffee, of course!
-Next I went to the gym and worked chest, shoulders, and triceps (workout posted) and ate half a persimmon when I came home (unpictured)
-For lunch I tried something new.. Sweet potato boats! (Recipe posted) and had mine with a large side of broccoli.
-My afternoon snack was a strawberry cheesecake quest protein bar I stuffed with walnuts and rolled up. This was absolutely delicious! I also had a nice warm glass of peppermint tea.
-After work, I came home to make dinner which was a vegan boca 'chicken' burger topped with tomato purée and mozzerella cheese. I served my 'chicken parmesean' with whole wheat rotini pasta and steamed zucchini. Fantastic dinner!
-I always look forward to ending my night with some sort of healthy treat. Tonight I took plain chobani Greek yogurt and mixed with vanilla extract, stevia/truvia, and cinnamon then stirred and froze for about an hour. When it's solid, you have frozen yogurt! I topped mine with a paleo 'brownie', vanilla snackimals, vegan chocolate chilps (enjoy life brand), sliced almonds, chocolate pb2, and walden farms chocolate and caramel syrups. Devoured this and fell right asleep!
